This build is focused on versatility + consistency. I play at a low-elo, theres a lot of variety in the teams I play with & against. I find this build sometimes struggles against being dove on, or teams with anti-heal.

Grips
@Longclaw Optics is essential to me. Extra range makes poke battles a lot easier, lets you position safer & lets you hit fleeing targets more reliably. Positioning further back also makes it easier to land double m2 heals. Landing auto's on Zeph is essential to mana regen in extended fights
@Bubble Frog was built for Zeph. The burst & speed at which he delivers heals makes him the best user of Bubble Frog.
@Feytech Claw In teams that want extra burst or already have lots of sustain (e.g. with an ally Shiv) The fights Zeph struggles with the most are against teams with Anti-Heal, where @Bubble Frog does nothing. You want to cast your abilities frequently on Zeph, so you get a lot of use from the claws.
@Chrono Gauge If your team doesn't need much healing (if you want to win by bursting out enemies, or your team has other means of sustaining in long fights, or the remaining teams have anti-heal) The extra ability haste is really nice
@Greenwood Grasp I want to experiment with this in games with a lot of dive enemies. It helps fend off mana problems & gives a good chunk of flat health.

Relics
@Ardent Songbow Cooldown reduction is very good on Zeph. His cooldowns are fairly low & you want to weave M1s between your ability casts anyway for mana regen. Ardent isn't great when you need to position very safely
@Paladin's Primer experimenting with this. Anti-heal is one of the hardest things to fight against, plus the shield is definitely useful.
@Sunweaver If your team prefers extra damage to extra protection. Sunweaver fits really nicely on Zeph
@Isochron's Timestaff I usually replace my blue with a timestaff in the late game once I've filled out the rest of my build. Raw ability haste is handy.

@Duality I want to experiment with. I don't like that its countered so easily by anti-heal & the stats on it are pretty meh. Its not really helping you at the start of a fight either
@Guardian Angel I think the revive boost is too small & situational for Zeph to take advantage of. I usually position far back & can rarely take advantage of the touch heal. 10% healing is a nice addition but not worth the slot. The one use of this item I can see is, when you do get to fly an ally wisp out of a fight with your tornado, you can move in a different direction to your wisp so the enemy has to choose between stopping the revive or chasing you.

Kicks
I don't feel confident in what kicks are good on zeph, its hard to notice them most of the time.
@Worn Sneakers I usually hold worn sneakers for most of the game to save on gold. I feel my perks, grips & relics are all more gold efficient than the extra 600-850 I'd spend on boots.
@Recon Runners are my preference. They make it easier to run to a revive spot & help you keep up with your allies whilst farming. In solo-q lots of teammates will take your tornado, dash way ahead of you and take camps whilst you're out of range.
@Bloodlust Boots As a late game option, I like being able to move more in combat either to dodge, keep or maintain distance. I find myself in a lot of close range 1v1s which is where i feel these are the most useful. Mby they help you follow up on a good Q stun. I'm not sure Zeph is going to consistently be able to build the stacks of bloodlust boots up.

Situational Perks
If the End Game is in an area with lots of water or lava, @Thermal Suit
If the End Game has a lot of open space, @Glider Booster (& mby consider @Farsight too)
@Oracle Immunity hard to say how good this really is. You want to take it when you're behind or miles away from the circle. Its rare to be in either circumstance whilst being also being at a red shop AND having the gold to spare on oracle immunity. Ask the team to share gold with you if you want to take this

Consistent Perks
Take these every game:
@Amplified Mana Zeph is very mana hungry, so i consider this perk a must take
@Heal Booster
@Amplified Haste

Replacable Perks
@Regenerative Armor I like saving gold by taking regenerative armour.
@Amplified Speed Its a decent boost
@Grace Zeph can help their team get around really quickly with this. Great if you're co-ordinated & focused on farming
@Nocturnal most early / mid game fights happen at night
@Farsight i like farsight but i dont think Zeph is the best character for it, you'd prefer your teammates to be looking ahead

Tips:
#Vive Brew restores mana. If you're out of mana, back out & take a brew.
you can help ally wisps escape with your tornado
