Put together a quick build guide because there is is not a single good Celeste build on this website yet.

Grips

@Chrono Gauge is a must have on Celeste, it triggers on both %Cryo Spear hits and on your %Shatter.
@Burning Palm you have enough damage to deal with squishy targets, so this one is for dealing with the tanks and semi tanks. (Bonus: the burn state can help reveal which Wukong is real after he uses his ultimate, just like %Shatter stacks stick to the real one. Very nice in this monkey meta)
@Trigger Fingers can be picked over burning if you tend to land all of your %Ice Darts and none of your abilities.

Relics

@Ardent Songbow is a core piece for any CDR build. If you are lucky enough to get the 2-star version, the CDR starts to ramp up ridiculously fast.
@Rumel's Hoverwinger no, please don't try to force an engage with a Hoverwinger + %Chilling Finale combo, 95% of the time it's just a bait and every single strong hunter on the patch can easily avoid it, people that fall for it could have easily been killed without wasting the longest CD in the game. Hoverwinger in this build is for extra mobility in abyss without the risk of getting spiked.

Alternatives (game is gamba based now so you might need them)

@Airblaster for blasting away people trying to dunk you in abyss, needs very clean timing though since most dunks are ridiculously fast.
@Sunweaver is a safe alternative for a bit more damage. Works nicely with a CDR build because it has no cooldown, proccing it 5 or more times in a fight will add up quickly. (Bonus: the 5% ability damage also applies to your %Shatter)
@Resonating Idol would take the CDR part of the build to another level. Needs to be 2-star though for it to really work.

Exotic relics

@The Soul Stealer & @Masamune have both +% ability damage and +% primary attack damage. Both of these apply to your %Shatter making them especially nice pickups.
@Be Kind, Rewind allows for an extra aggressive playstyle on land and for more outplay potential in abyss, especially against dunkers.

@Rocket High-Tops extra dash speed is just too nice, will make it harder for people to react when you %Skate at them and increases the max range of your dash.
@Feystriders if the gamba is ruining your life.
@Worn Sneakers if the gamba took the dog as well.

@Oracle Immunity always have this on a team member, being invisible on the map allows you to lose enemies that are chasing you and open up more 3rd party angles.
@Dash Engine this will solve a lot of your mana issues. Make sure you have Vive brews on you in case you still run out in a particularly drawn out fight.
@Glider Coolant & @Glider Booster will greatly help out in abyss fights against non-dunkers.
@Nocturnal having this at nighttime just feels nice, can be swapped out for many things according to personal preference. Drop this perk first when you need a free slot for legendary or mythic perks.

Start %Skate if you are fighting at level 1, you won't have a stagger for the camp so that's up to your teammates, your focus should be to kill the enemies while they are focused on the camp. %Skate will allow you to finish them off if they get low or to get away when the enemy steals the level 2.
Max %Skate. This is crucial for fighting in abyss. Having the ability to create ice allows you to play abyss against all these dunkers running rampant. No it's not 'just creating ice for enemies to chase you'. If they are on the ice, you probably got to hit them first, you can %Cryo Spear them to instantly break the ice and the %Frozen Barricade is very effective on the narrow ice bridge.
You could already max %Skate level 6 already but you would lose some damage on %Cryo Spear and abyss fighting is not the most common thing on day/night 1.
%Chilling Finale is important. You can use it to cancel an enemy dunk or instance of damage that would spike you if all else has failed.

When in abyss, you have a lot of tools and low CDs to teach all those dunkers a lesson on how to play abyss. When on land, all the CDR will allow you to put out consistent damage while you can counter enemy dives with your %Chilling Finale, %Frozen Barricade and low CD %Skate.
