Mercury Build Guide – Supervive

This is hands down the best Mercury build I’ve found so far and I absolutely love it! I finally quit League of Legends after 11 years to move over to Supervive, and I’m completely hooked!

With this build, I consistently deal 30k–50k damage per game, and in Arena I’ve even hit 50k–90k, tested and approved against "good" Legend-ranked players (as confirmed by my Twitch chat)

[Mercury’s Problems]

The main issue with Mercury is that even the devs classify her as a “Controller,” but she doesn’t really have a real control ability (except for her situational %Backlast ?)

Most Mercury players build Haste, but their %Magic Mortar and %Golden Beam deal no real damage. Whenever you see a Mercury in a match, the usual reaction is to laugh and dive her

⚡ With this build, you are the threat.

As for the so-called “Support Mercury”: her healing version doesn’t really bring much to the team aside from following up with her %Golden Beam – which, let’s be honest, is almost useless in Abyss fights. You could try to fix it with @Rumel's Hoverwinger, but the item is way too situational and kills your value. Plus, if the enemy has any brains (Shiv, Wukong, Elluna, Myth, etc.), they’ll just dodge your %Golden Beam with a simple dash. End of story.

Her %Cinnabar is only good for the resurrection mechanic – decent in low/mid elo, but at higher levels you’ll almost never land a rez. And in early contested fights, one anti-heal/Felix/Saros shuts it down completely

[Why This Build Works]

This build revolves around 3-star items. Since the update, they drop more often from Vault, monsters, and abyssal spawns. On average, in 10 games, I’ve always had at least one 3-star item, often @Sword of Seven Suns or @Thunderbolt

The build gives Mercury real value

You’re rewarded for landing your %Magic Mortar
You get insane burst potential
You apply @Burning Palm in six different ways (on-hit, over time, melee, etc.) which scales especially well as you climb elo, since tanks/Kingpin/Elluna/Zeph often play sustain/Tanky builds ( @Essence Reaper / @Vive Infusor )

[Pros.]

Finally, real damage. If you find @Thunderbolt early, you can rush enemy teams super fast
@Sword of Seven Suns is amazing now after Haste nerfs – +20% damage to autos and abilities, even with its penalty
@Thunderbolt gives massive burst – 12% base damage + crazy passive for farming/bosses, plus one-shots squishies at levels 5, 7, and 10. Late game, you’re a monster
@Feytech Claw = bonus damage + ally healing
@Burning Palm = busted. They apply on almost everything: both %Magic Mortar, both %Backlast, your %Cinnabar (even though it’s a heal), and your %Golden Beam (not continuously)

⚔️ Combo example:
%Magic Mortar > (optional second %Magic Mortar) > stack 3–6 %Firecracker Lance > Jump > %Backlast + %Firecracker Lance behind the enemy to close the gap (like Shrike) > %Cinnabar in melee > %Golden Beam
Keep a %Backlast charge ready to escape stuns (Brall/Kingpin/Void/Bishop/Wukong, etc.)

[Cons.]

It’s a “hit or miss” build. If you miss your setup or misplace your %Backlast , you’re doomed
@Sword of Seven Suns reduces Dash Haste – once you commit, you’re all-in
Healing is there, but not insane
Requires good aim, awareness, and aggressive instincts. A bad Mercury is instantly noticeable compared to a good one. If you’re too passive, don’t start with this build. But over time, you’ll sharpen your instincts and map awareness

[Best Perks]

@Armor Shredder – Must-have. If someone plays Mercury without this, they’re trolling (unless they just don’t own it). You’ll shred even Exotic shields, this perk is just too good
@Grace – Great if you land %Magic Mortar from afar; lets you dive deeper with %Backlast
@Vengeful Strikes – Amazing clutch perk, especially with %Cinnabar / %Golden Beam sustain
@Amplified Haste – Never bad, but can swap for @Heal Receptor if you have a "real" healer support in team
@Adversity Engine – Love this one. Up to 6% damage reduction in dives

⚠️ @Farsight – Good, but not essential. High-level map awareness makes it unnecessary. You already get extra vision when casting %Magic Mortar

[Exo Relics]

@The Soul Stealer – Best exo-relic. Mercury wants to fight constantly; this replaces @Sword of Seven Suns
@Masamune – Decent all-rounder, also a replacement for @Sword of Seven Suns
@Mecha Boosters – Criminally underrated. Best boots in the game. Perfect for repositioning, no downside with this build.

[Exo Perks]

@Brilliance – Best in slot. You hit someone and, as we say in France, “their mother explodes.”
@Hyperhaste – Fixes the build’s lack of Haste.
@Corrosion – Sell your soul for it.
@Combustion – Decent bonus perk.
@Phasewalking – Amazing reposition tool; Mercury is one of the few who can cross every wall at lightning speed ( %Firecracker Lance + %Backlast )

[Best Team Comps]

Mercury loves playing with:

Elluna – Root into your combo = guaranteed kill OR poke ( %Magic Mortar )
Zeph – Complements heals well.
Felix / Oath – Great setup synergy.
Kingpin – Perfect engage. You can charge %Magic Mortar mid-grapple.

👉 My favorite trio: Mercury + Elluna + Kingpin.

[Final Thoughts / Tips]

I’m not saying every Mercury MUST play this way. It’s a double-edged build. But if you’re confident in your mechanics, land your %Magic Mortar consistently, and play aggressively with good reflexes – then this is 100% for you.

Two golden rules I’ve followed since my LoL days (and they apply perfectly in this game too):

Be Proactive – always think ahead. Once you’ve got your build/levels, ask: what’s the next step?
Action → Reaction – land %Magic Mortar → dive instantly. If you miss, be patient, farm cooldowns, poke with %Firecracker Lance, reposition, then re-engage.
